Now Hiring – Irrigation Service Technician
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Irrigation Service Technician to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, communicates professionally with customers, and can work independently while representing the company in a positive manner.
The Irrigation Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and installing residential and commercial irrigation systems. Candidates should have experience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical irrigation components and be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Job Responsibilities
• Diagnose and repair irrigation system issues efficiently
• Troubleshoot wiring, valves, timers, controllers, pumps, and sprinkler heads
• Locate and repair leaks and broken lines
• Perform irrigation inspections and seasonal adjustments
• Program and adjust irrigation controllers and smart timers
• Ensure proper water coverage and system efficiency
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding repairs and recommendations
• Maintain accurate service records and job notes
• Operate company vehicles and equipment safely
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional appearance on job sites
Qualifications
• Irrigation experience preferred
• Knowledge of irrigation components, controllers, and troubleshooting methods
• Ability to work independently and solve problems in the field
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Ability to lift, dig, work outdoors, and perform physical labor
• Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
• Non smoker or vaper---drug free
• Ability to work well with office staff and field crews
Preferred Experience
• Residential and commercial irrigation service
• Pump troubleshooting
• Smart irrigation controllers
• Landscape lighting experience is a plus
