Responsibilities
Safely operate CDL A tractor-trailers and other commercial vehicles to transport freight across designated routes.
Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local transportation regulations and company policies.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and readiness; report any issues promptly.
Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and route records for accountability and efficiency.
Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle (CDL A) to transport amusement equipment to and from event sites.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
Maintain detailed logs for driving hours and vehicle maintenance.
Adhere to all federal, state, and local traffic laws and regulations.
Assist in loading and unloading equipment as required, ensuring safe handling practices.
Requirements
Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record.
Must be in possession of a CDL Class A license (or foreign equivalent) valid for USA.
Must be able to pass the US Department of Transportation Drug Screen and Physical.
Post-employment random drug testing & background check.
Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles preferred.
Ability to load & unload freight safely using equipment like forklifts.
Experience with route driving and delivery operations in different environments.
Knowledge of safety protocols related to commercial driving and freight handling.
