1.) Who we are:
We are a medium sized, cloud-based consultancy headquartered in Las Vegas, NV, USA, but with consultants spread across the globe, from Asia to South America. We primarily handle Academic Consulting for Doctorate level clients, and are currently hiring Academic Consultants.
Each position is a strictly work-from-home position, and any applicant should view this as a strong incentive. It's vital that any potential applicant is extremely comfortable working very long hours (60+ is normal, 70 is not abnormal). The first 3 months are paid training, where pay is $3500/month. After 3 months, pay will be $3500 + bonus, where bonus will be between $0-$4000 monthly, and the expectation is the average bonus size will be $2000. The more you work, the more you get paid. It's very normal for a successful first year consultant to make $60,000-$70,000, with these numbers reaching $80,000 by year 2.
2.) Job responsibilities for the Academic Consultant position:
The entirety of this job will be handling communications with existing and potential clients of the company, both in terms of managing existing services as well as selling new services, as well as reviewing and delivering work from independent contractors. You will you need to be able to manage expectations, and build long-lasting relationships with all of your clients. Note there is no cold calling of any kind.
3.) Requirements:
Applicants must possess a meticulous nature and an extremely high attention to detail.
Excellent command of the English Language. Native English speaker.
Post-Graduate Degree or higher, preferably from a good university.
Virtually all of our successful applicants have some background in competitive gaming (chess, poker, blackjack, etc) or have been professional academics; as such, a background of this nature is STRONGLY preferred.
All applicants must pass an UNPAID assessment, which is fairly extensive, that tests the following skillsets of any applicant.
A. Ability to review work deliverables in comparison to assignment details
B. Ability to respond properly to client requests and concerns
C. Ability to speak to clients properly by phone
D. Knowledge and background in qualitative research, ability to speak at a high academic level with clients and explain our service offerings and how it would help them with their work.
All applicants will be required to undergo the assessment before hiring decision is reached.
4.) Compensation:
All candidates, regardless of qualifications, must pass the assessment in order to be considered for the position. All candidates will receive the exact same assessment. All candidates will receive an immediate $500 signon bonus if they are onboarded for training (which is also paid at the $3500/month rate)
